Cool City

Since the start of the industrial revolution there have been some problems associated with economic development such as:
  1. Earth environmental issues.
  2. Traffic Delays.
  3. Rising in population.
  4. Increases in energy consumption.
  5. Increasing in the amount of Carbon dioxide CO2.

We have to reduce the amount of CO2 in the air since we are using recourses of more than two planets. In Japan during the last 30 years, GDP (Gross Domestic Product) has gone up around 68% while energy efficiency has increased 37% and oil consumption has decreased 8% percent. Over 90% of carbon dioxide emitted into the air is caused by Transportation and Buildings.

What is Cool City? Cool city means a sustainable urban development and architecture for gulf region. A Company called SDCJ who is developing a sustainable system to reduce the emitted of CO2 in the air. In cool city they are going to use three types of transportation such as: Monorail station, Light Rail Transit, Water transportation and Hybrid cars. Also, they are going to use echo systems in the buildings. Echo systems in towers will reduce 50% of CO2 and 30% in residential zones.

Cool city has many different zones:

  1. Business and public zone.
  2. Residential Zone.
  3. Cultural and sports zone.
  4. Resort zone.

By considering of using the latest and new technology we will be able to reduce CO2 what is equal to 60% from the air.
